Filled,then Fasting Equals Empowerment

What better way to model ourselves and our ministry then to make Jesus our example. If we look in the book of Luke chapter 4 verse 1 shows us that "Jesus being FULL of the Holy Ghost returned from jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness",then compare that to Luke 4 verse 14 "and Jesus returned in the POWER of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about." We seek the face of God by prayer and an earnest study of Gods Word, we become filled with the Holy Ghost (Gods presence with us).As we seek a more intimate relationship with the creator of all the universe we humble ourselves by fasting. Fasting brings the anointing of God, and the empowerment of the God of Abraham, of Issac, and of Jacob, to perform His will.As Jesus stated in john chapter 14:12 "verily,verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and GREATER WORKS than these shall he do; because I go unto my father."  Please reader, seek the Lord thy God while He may be found, God is massing together His endtime Army now, are you for God or Against God.  matthew 12:30 "He that is not with me is against; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad".  We truely don't want to be found fighting against "The Maker of All Life, The Breather of All Breath, The Source of All Love",  For every Heart in every Body WILL fear God, either In life and follow Him now, or In death and tremble before Him later, He will be feared. So why not come to Him now, He is worthy to be Praised.

HOW THE MASTER LABORED

In the book of john chapter 4 when Jesus met the samaritan women at the well His desciples had been sent into town to buy meat, Jesus himself BEING WEARIED (FASTING) sat on a well, then came a woman of samaria. The Lord then testified to the woman, upon hearing the Master the woman then went into town to call the men to Him. The desciples returned to see Him speaking to the woman but none asked Him, why? When she had left to get the men, the desciples begged Him to eat, His only reply was, "I have meat to eat that you know not of". They thought maybe someone else had brought Him food (this leads us to believe He had not had food in quite some time) "My meat is to do the will of Him that sent me,and to finish His work.  .  .Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields;for they are white already to harvest." LABOR,REAP,GATHER FRUIT UNTO ETERNAL LIFE,HE THAT SOWS AND HE THAT REAPS MAY REJOICE TOGETHER. We are to fast regularly while being about the Fathers work, model yourself after the Master.

HOW THE MASTER TREAD

When Jesus had compassion on the multitude (the 5000 men,with thier families Matt 14:15-21) they were fainting along the way, they had been with Him for about a couple of days and obviously had not eaten.We may assume that Jesus had not eaten either, for it is doubtful the Master would eat in front of His followers while they fasted  .  .alone.  Again in Matt 9:36-38 when the multitude were fainting along the way, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd, again we see the Master fasting.  .  .In Matt. 9:15 Jesus tells us that once the Bridegroom would be taken away THEN SHALL THEY FAST. In Matt 6:16-18 Jesus, The Master tells us that WHEN we fast we should not appear to men to fast, but to God who sees in secrecy, and God who sees in secrecy will reward us openly. Also in Matt 15:32-39  4000 men, with thier families had been with Jesus for three days and not eaten(fasting with the Master) and were fainting along the way. He had compassion on them and fed them, and they were filled. Again the lad that was possesed of the devils that often cast himself into fires,The Masters desciples could not cast them out to set the boy free. The master Himself had to do it, and told us that THIS KIND comes not out but by PRAYER AND FASTING. Jesus gave us many examples, and showed us many times how we ought to walk.   .   ."shall not the servant tread, as the Master tread also"
